Based in New York, Katalina is a photographer and filmmaker with more than 10 years of shooting experience. Currently working in short films, documentary projects, and photojournalism. 

Katalina's latest work, Ophelia, is a story that captures the lives of two women from different times getting close to each other through a painting inspired by Shakespeare's Hamlet. This work explores some historical gendered representation of women in classical literature and painting The film utilizes the uncanny nature of dreams to deepen in women's psyche and meditate in these landscapes of the unconsciousness.
